Former NBA players Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White recently made headlines as the first biological males identifying as women to declare for the 2027 WNBA Draft. Commissioner Cathy Engelbert wasn\u2019t pleased and promised to put an end to it, by thinking about taking action as quickly as she could evaluate who should be taking action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI firmly believe that the best way to get something done quickly, is to talk about forming a committee that creates a commission that considers concerns of future committees. Enes Freedom Kanter has identified as a woman. But because he is without wig, we will seek to identify who exactly it is, that will be unidentifying Enes as a woman, therefore making him ineligible for the 2027 WBNA Draft, at some point, in the next three to four years,\u201d Engelbert said.
People who use pronouns fear this could set a dangerous precedent, because if one biological man could be unidentified as a biological woman, all of them could be. The setback has gotten so bad, that after a failed attempt to define what a woman is, the WNBA hired a logician to sort it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf anyone is allowed to unidentify Enes Kanter and Royce White as biological women, someone could unidentify the unidentifiers, negating the unidentification process entirely. Worse yet, if the unidentifier is unidentified, it would re-identify the original identifier\u2019s identity,\u201d said the professor who teaches Transfinite Modal \u03bc\u2011Topos Logic at MIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not all trans people support Cathy Engelbert\u2019s unidentification crusade. One man, who goes by Lester The Molester, said he had been putting in a lot of unpaid work in the WBNA restrooms recently. When asked if he agreed with Engelbert, he said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf a lady in power can unidentify a dicked-dude as a lady, then how is an autogynephilic like me supposed to salaciously expose my lady shaft to other ladies while wearing lingerie in a women\u2019s bathroom?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Others were not so sure. Some fans think having the world\u2019s tallest man in the WNBA creates an unfair advantage, because Enes is 50% faster and 18,000% stronger than the average WNBA player. Some pointed out that Enes Kanter\u2019s 8-foot-tall wingspan is wide enough to guard all five members of any WNBA team without moving, and he could reject all of their shots with one hand just by standing still in the middle of the key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unlike other former NBA players declaring for the WBNA, such as Royce White, Enes did not opt to wear a wig, causing confusion about his seriousness to cosplay as a woman for basketball purposes. Even WNBA player DiJonai Carrington, the woman named after a Food 4 Less mustard, had managed to obtain a wig before the season started. Many commented that if Enes was too lazy to have searched the bargain bin at Party City for long locks of dirty pirate hair, he shouldn\u2019t be allowed to be re-identified as a woman under any condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham, who is not a fervent supporter of 8-foot-tall tall males in the WBNA, expressed concerns that it could create unsafe situations on and off the court. \u201cI\u2019m not sure I want Enes and Royce dunking on me from the three-point line every play, as it would constantly expose my angelic, Anglo-Saxon face to their crotchular region.
